What this campaign is

The Olive Shield is a Palestinian-led civilian mission

We invite supporters worldwide to stand with Palestinian farmers during the 2026 olive harvest through peaceful, unarmed civilian accompaniment.

Leadership is local and Palestinian. The aim is to protect the harvest and the land. Registration opens the path and does not commit you to travel before review and training.

How supporters can take part

Three clear paths. Choose one in the registration form. Field presence is primary; remote support and institutional partnership widen it.

Primary

Field presence

Stand with Palestinian farmers during harvest. Peaceful civilian presence inside a team, led by people of the land.

What you do in the field

  • Accompany families in the groves during harvest, inside a coordinated team. No one goes alone.
  • Document what you witness in image and word — only with landowners' consent.
  • Follow local coordinators on where to stand and when to withdraw.
  • After return, give an accurate account at home. Solidarity does not end at the checkpoint.

Before any travel

  • Review and training: context, safety, peaceful conduct rules, and team role.
  • Assignment to a specific community happens after acceptance — not as a personal pick.

The mission is unarmed. The international participant is a guest accompanier, not a leader or independent activist on the ground.

From home

Remote support

If you cannot travel, there is a clear role from your country. Same accuracy, same commitment to Palestinian community leadership.

What you do remotely

  • Translate field reports and testimonies into your audience's languages.
  • Careful media work: precise publishing, no sensationalism, no exposing sensitive locations.
  • Local political pressure: MPs, unions, churches, and universities where you live.
  • Run briefings and recruit new supporters for the field path.

What is required

  • Meet delivery deadlines and protect source confidentiality when asked.
  • Coordinate with the campaign before any statement in its name.

Remote support complements the field; it does not replace it. Choose this path in the form if travel is not possible now.

Institutions

Organization partnership

For a union, church, university, municipality, or association. The need is an ongoing tie with a Palestinian community — not a one-off symbolic visit.

What the organization does

  • Adopts a community link with a village or herding camps: coordinated accompaniment delegations, not free tourist solidarity trips.
  • Provides institutional cover: statements, pressure, and mobilizing members toward the mission.
  • Helps prepare participants for review and training before any field deployment.
  • Keeps the bond after the season: advocacy, translation, and community follow-up.

What is not a partnership

  • Financial sponsorship without presence or accountability.
  • A delegation working alone outside local coordination.

Institutional registration opens coordination with the campaign; it does not publish the organization's name before agreement.

Questions before registering

Presence in the West Bank involves real risk. No one is deployed alone, and legal and safety training is given before travel. We cannot guarantee entry or the absence of attacks. We do guarantee a protocol, a team, and a communication channel.
The field cycle is usually two weeks during October and November 2026. Travel tickets are at the participant's expense. Lodging and field transport are coordinated with local teams after acceptance. We do not ask for a donation to register.
No. Most participants are first-timers. What is required is commitment to the code of conduct, completing preparation, and working inside a team.
Most arrivals enter via Ben Gurion Airport or the King Hussein Bridge. Inspection procedures and possible denial of entry are part of training. Each passport receives specific guidance after acceptance.
The campaign is Palestinian-led. Local communities and coordinators decide where you stand and when you withdraw. The international participant is a guest accompanier, not a leader.
No. Registration and mission location are confidential by default. If you later choose public testimony, that decision is yours and stays within community-protection rules.
Yes: documentation, translation, political pressure, or an organization partnership with a village. Choose “Remote support” in the form. The field remains the primary path.

The land is not empty. People are not alone.
